The City of St Charles is...
An upscale neighborhood located about thirty-five miles west of Chicago. It is tucked into a wooded area, lush with trees and wildlife, adjoining Saint Charles Country Club. The WFG offers The Best of Both Worlds…close enough to Chicago to enjoy all its many opportunities…yet far enough away to offer a peaceful, safe, and friendly environment for family life. Saint Charles is an award winning city with an excellent reputation and strong sense of community. The Fox River flows through the middle of downtown and is the center for many activities – government, shopping, recreation and entertainment, sports, and the many festivals for which St. Charles is famous. The Village of Wayne, which adjoins the WFG to the East, is the center for equestrian activities in the western suburbs. Wayne boasts of being home to the Dunham Woods Riding Club and Lamplight Equestrian Center and offers miles of trails for horseback riding and cycling. For those who prefer to experience nature on foot, parks and preserves offer hiking, fishing, and bird watching, among other activities. The Illinois Prairie Path extends through the village. The WFG is a thoughtfully developed neighborhood with rolling terrain, a creek, pond, mature trees and designated natural areas. Each site is unique – stunning homes, landscapes and views. Neighbors are friendly and supportive. As the WFG is within the City of Saint Charles, all city services are provided such as police and fire protection, city water and snow removal just to mention a few. The WFG Homeowner’s Association is a vibrant organization which protects the interests of the neighborhood and provides opportunities to socialize on a regular basis. |
